This subsidy is available to registered businesses and charities in the tourism and hospitality sector within the north Pembrokeshire region. It is in all our interests to improve service to customers and visitors, and enhance local knowledge to help promote this wonderful part of the world.
Offered as part of the Ancient Connections programme, this Business Support Subsidy is designed specifically to cover the cost of staff cover, in order to enable a team member to attend two, half day Welcomer training sessions. Based on the living wage in Ireland and Wales, we're offering a subsidy of £60 for north Pembrokeshire businesses and €73 for Co. Wexford businesses. The money will be paid on completion of the two half days of training to the business' account (not the staff member). The fund is limited to one staff member per business. Applications are evaluated on a case by case basis. The business owner / manager will be notified of the outcome of the application before training begins.
This application should be filled in and submitted by the business or charity owner / manager / director (not staff member receiving training).
