AMBASSADORS . LLYSGENHADON . AMBASADÓIRÍ
Ambassadors are valued volunteers who have a passion for their place and want to learn to share it, AND those who are already at the front line of the tourism and hospitality industry who want to develop local knowledge, hospitality skills and better serve visitors.
As an Ancient Connections Ambassador you will learn about fascinating aspects of local history, stories, heritage and culture and develop skills to help you share this knowledge with your community and with visitors.
Training will focus on your locality as well as your local region of the Ancient Connections project. Importantly it will also include the history and stories along the route of the new pilgrimage route being developed by Ancient Connections. This means that we can all work together to bring this land and landscape, its history and heritage alive to those who want to know more, and support the local economy too.
We'll be offering two FREE Ambassador training programmes across this year. There will be three days of training, two in the 'classroom' and one 'out and about day'. Of these, Ambassadors must complete two full days of training.

Fel Llysgennad Cysylltiadau Hynafol byddwch yn dysgu am agweddau hynod ddiddorol ar eich hanes lleol, straeon, treftadaeth a diwylliant ac yn datblygu sgiliau i'ch helpu i rannu'r wybodaeth hon gyda'ch cymuned a chydag ymwelwyr.
Bydd hyfforddiant yn canolbwyntio ar eich ardal leol yn ogystal â'ch rhanbarth lleol o'r prosiect Cysylltiadau Hynafol. Yn bwysig, bydd hefyd yn cynnwys yr hanes a’r straeon ar hyd y llwybr pererindod newydd sy’n cael ei ddatblygu gan brosiect Cysylltiadau Hynafol. Mae hyn yn golygu y gallwn ni i gyd weithio gyda’n gilydd i ddod â’r tir a’r dirwedd hon, ei hanes a’i threftadaeth yn fyw i’r rhai sydd eisiau gwybod mwy, a chefnogi’r economi leol hefyd.
Byddwn yn cynnig hyfforddiant Llysgenhadon AM DDIM ddwywaith yn ystod y flwyddyn hon. Bydd tri diwrnod o hyfforddiant, dau yn yr ‘ystafell ddosbarth’ ac un ‘diwrnod ar dramp’. O'r rhain, rhaid i Lysgenhadon gwblhau dau ddiwrnod llawn o hyfforddiant.

WELCOMERS . CROESAWYR . FÁILTEOIRÍ
Welcomers is an 'Ambassador Lite' training programme, designed specifically for those who have an important part to play and also benefit from a thriving visitor economy. This includes hospitality receptionists and front of house teams, taxi drivers, bar and restaurant waiting staff, leisure providers, attraction teams etc.
It's designed specifically to give you an additional boost of customer service skills and a good knowledge about what makes your place special and interesting to visitors.
We'll be offering FREE half day Welcomer training in July 2022 to get your teams ready for summer. Welcomers need to complete two half days of training to qualify, and the great news is WE HAVE SOME SMALL BUSINESS GRANTS to support your business while your team train!
